Ways to Donate

Here are just a few of the ways you can help change the lives of individuals and families in our community:

GIFTS OF CASH

Requests for Family Service Agency of San Francisco services are increasing while public dollars for local human care are decreasing. In these demanding economic times, our clients need your financial support more than ever.

You may direct a gift to support a specific Family Service Agency of San Francisco program, or perhaps you might like to make a donation in honor or in memory of someone who helped change your life.

THE UNITED WAY DONOR DESIGNATION

Remember FSA/SF during your employer's annual United Way Fund Drive. You may designate Family Service Agency of San Francisco as the recipient of your donation; simply write our agency number, 3088, in the space provided on your Bay Area United Way form.

MATCHING-GIFT PROGRAMS AT WORK

Find out if your employer has a matching gift program or would support the community by starting such a program. Through Matching Gift Programs, employers are able to demonstrate their support of you by "matching" the amount of your donation to Family Service Agency of San Francisco.

GIFTS OF APPRECIATED SECURITIES

DONATE CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE.

Mention FSA when you make a donation, the Community Thrift Store they will send us a check for the full declared value of your donations! Drop off your items at 623 Valencia Street. (The donation door is on Sycamore Alley, parallel to 18th Street. Call 415-861-4910 for more information). Be sure to mention FSA's charitable code: 183.
